below for more examples of the codes to be used for

specific interfaces.

For dual-port cards, the sub code is the decimal

equivalent to the four-digit hexadecimal composite of

the place holder code (70) + the card instance number +

30. The example below shows the calculation for the

interface defined by the device file x25_0p1.

NOTE The sub code for dual-port cards will be the same for

both ports.
