1. Add the specific user name to the following namespaces:

• root\HPQ

• root\HPQ\default

• root\HPQ\TestEvent

• root\Interop

2. For each namespace, complete the following namespace security steps:

a. On the Start screen on the desktop, type Run and press Enter (or press

Windows logo key+R to open the Run dialog box).

b. Enter wmimgmt.msc and click OK.

c. Right-click WMI Control and click Properties.

d. Select the Security tab.

e. Select the namespace.

f. Click the Security button and enable the following permissions for the

user:

• Execute Methods

• Full Write

• Partial Write

• Provider Write

• Enable Account

• Remote Enable

• Read Security

• Edit Security

3. Click Apply, and then click OK twice.

When attempting to create a highly

available file server, the following error

message is displayed:

1. Identify the network resource that is indicating the network status is

partitioned.

2. From either clustered node, open Network connections and select the NIC

that is causing the partitioning issue. Disable the network connection for

3-5 seconds.

3. Re-enable the network connection.

4. Run the Create a File Server wizard again. The file server should be

created successfully.

You can safely continue and log in. Once logged in, see the Local Server

Certificate topic in the System Management Homepage online help to set

up a trusted certificate.

When starting the System Management

Homepage, you may see a message that

there is an error with the security

certificate.

If you choose to remove a volume from a cluster, be sure not to use the

standalone volume to store data.

Be aware that non-clustered volumes are

at risk of data corruption. When using

the New Volume wizard, the volume is

automatically added to the cluster.

You can remove the volume from the
