Configuring the Load Management Link on the Option 11

To configure the Load Management Link on the Meridian 1, follow the

steps in Procedure 12-6.

To configure the Load Management Link on the Option 11

1 Check the options on the Serial Data Interface (SDI) circuit pack.

Follow the instructions for Circuit Card Installation and Testing in the

Option 11 Installation Guide

(NTP 553-3011-210) for the type of SDI

circuit pack being used. The Meridian MAX port needs to be set for the

following:

Port Address: x

The range for x is 1 to 15.

Interface: xxx

Arrange the port for a modem interface. For a direct connection, use

DTE.

Data Transfer Rate:

Enter 9600 baud as the data transfer rate (baud rate).

2 If you are upgrading from an ACD C1 or C2 package (the ACD

reporting system), all data specifically related to management reports,

ACD printers, and Supervisor terminals must be deleted from the

current Meridian 1 database prior to programming the database to

support the Meridian MAX reporting system.

If you are not upgrading from an ACD C1 or C2 package, go to Step 6.

The programming is the same as that for the D package options which

enable the ADS block.

3 To remove the Schedule Block (SCB) load Overlay 23. Remove any

devices defined at the STIO prompt from every queue. You must

remove them in each ACD-DN block.

To “out” or “remove” devices from the STIO prompt:

TYPE ACD

ACDN xxxx

xxxx is the queue number.

STIO X

Note:

An upper case X means “remove” or “out.”
