Reflection 4+

When this document mentions Reflection 4+, it refers to Reflection 4+ for

DOS.

To use a PC to run Meridian MAX 8, you must install either Reflection 4+

for DOS or MTE. Only MTE, not Reflection 4+, can be used if you are

connected to a LAN. Refer to your Reflection 4+ user’s manual for

installation instructions.

Note: If you require international support, Reflection 4+ Release 4.1

or higher is recommended. Only these versions have full international

support. Release 3.4 to 4.0 have partial support. Any release below 3.4

does not have international support.

PC without hard disk running Reflection 4+ for DOS

If you are using a PC without a hard disk, power up the PC and insert the

DOS operating system disk in Drive A. When the PC boots up, insert the

Reflection 4+ operating disk in Drive B, and select Drive B. Enter R4 to

start the Reflection 4+ program.

PC with hard disk running Reflection 4+ for DOS

If you are using a PC with a hard disk, power up the PC. When the PC

boots up, switch to the directory which contains the Reflection 4+ program,

and enter R4 to start the program.
