4.2 TCP/IP Setup
You must have the TCP/IP networking facility installed on Windows NT. To check
the TCP/IP network installation:
1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Select the Network icon and the Protocols tab.
3. Check to see that the TCP/IP protocol is installed.
MSC.Patranalso requiresanethernetcard,eveniftheworkstation isnot connectedto
a network. MSC.Patran uses the ethernet card to create a system ID for FLEXlm
licensing.
