Can’t open display: <machine_name>:0.0
The work-around is to use the system IP address instead of the system hostname in
the DISPLAY environment variable. Where you would normally type:
% setenv DISPLAY <hostname>:0.0
use:
% setenv DISPLAY <ip address>:0.0
For example:
% setenv DISPLAY 192.0.1.37:0.0
Also note that FrameViewer requires the installation of the IRIX System V Release 4
Networking Package. For more information see Import/Export, Analysis Submit
