5.2 UNIX Application Resources and Fonts
MSC.Patranusesapplicationresourcesfiles(listedinTable 5-2)todefinetherequired
set of X resources. These resources include an optimal color scheme, default window
locations and appropriate font sizes.
The MSC.Patran CD-ROM provides these resource files, and automatically places
them under the <inst>/patrannn
/app-defaults directory when you execute the
mscsetupprogram.In UNIXinstallations,each usermay copythese filesto theirhome
directory for individual customization.
Important: The following information on font and color settings applies only to
MSC.Patran on UNIX installations. MSC.Patran on Windows NT uses
settings as per Control Panel\Display\Appearance and Control
Panel\Display\Settings
.
