The set secure command console puts the console into secure mode.
The operator attempts to boot the operating system with command-line parameters. A
message is displayed indicating that boot parameters are not allowed when the system is in
secure mode.
Entering the login command turns off security features for the current console session.
After successfully logging in, the operator enters a boot command with command-line
parameters.
The set secure command enables secure mode. If no password has been set, you are
prompted to set the password. Once you set a password and enter the set secure command,
secure mode is in effect immediately and only the continue, boot (using the stored
parameters), and
login commands can be performed.
The syntax is:
set secure
