NOTE: To disable touch features and force RGS Receiver to use the non-touch GUI, enable the property

Rgreceiver.ForceDesktopUI. For more information, see Setting RGS properties manually

on page 63 and Other global properties on page 64.

Item Description

1 Sets the image quality. A higher value increases quality by reducing the amount of compression at the expense of

consuming more network bandwidth.

NOTE: This control is duplicated in the Performance panel of the RGS Receiver settings.

2 Displays the current status of HP Velocity (see HP Velocity (Windows/Linux only) on page 28 for more information).

3 Displays the current network bandwidth consumed by the connection.

4 Displays the number of image updates in frames-per-second.

5 Adds or removes window borders on the RGS Receiver window (non-touch GUI only).

6 Toggles Setup Mode (see Setup Mode (non-touch GUI only) on page 18).

7 Sends a virtual Ctrl+Alt+Del command to the sender.

8 Opens the Settings panel (see RGS Receiver settings on page 19 for more information).

9 Shows or hides the RGS Receiver toolbar.

TIP: You can drag this button left or right to adjust its position.

10 Opens the virtual keyboard (see Using touch features (Windows only, touch GUI only) on page 38 for more information).

11 Enables the virtual mouse (see Using touch features (Windows only, touch GUI only) on page 38 for more information).

TIP: The virtual mouse also can be enabled and disabled using the 4-nger tap gesture.
