Adding Community IP Addresses

To add a community IP address:

1. Log on to open the XP Remote Web Console main pane and then click Install (

). Click the SNMP

IP Secur

ity tab to display the SNMP IP Security pane (Figure 93).

2. Select and right-click the desired community to display the Add Community popup menu (see

Figure 101).

3. Select

the Add IP Address command. The Add IP Address pane is displayed (see Figure 102).

4. In the IP Address box, enter a new IP address or select the existing IP address.

5. Click OK. The new IP address is displayed in the Community & Trap box, but the change is not yet

imple

mented to the array.

6. If you want to apply the changes to the array, click Apply.Click OK. If you want to cancel the

changes, click Cancel.
