The blade must be disabled so that processing stops. Refer to “Disabling a Blade”
on page 115.
3. Enter the slotpoweroff command with the following syntax at the
command line:
slotpoweroff slotnumber
where slotnumber is the slot number of the blade you want to power off.
Example
switch:admin> slotpoweroff 3
Slot 3 is being powered off
