Properties utility script (PROPUTILITY)

This CLUI script enables you to conﬁgure the properties ﬁlewhichinturnenablesyoutointegrateother

software and s hell scripts.

PROPUTILITY usage

Following is the general format of the comma nd to invoke the script:

proputility [-i] [-ms <management sta-

tion>] [-rauth <report username:password>]

[-cauth <config username:password>]

where:

–i

Interactivemode.TheuserispromptedfortheURLofthemanagementstation.

Thereportusernameandpasswordpair,andtheconﬁg username and password pair.

For any of these items, press Enter to keep the current value.

–rauth

The report username and password pair. The default value for this entry is paxp:xparray.

–ms

The manage

ment station ID or IP address. The default value for this entry is localhost.

–cauth

The conﬁguration username and password pair. The default value for this entry is

confmonxp:redstar.

In the interactive mode, pressing Enter for each entry keeps the current or default values.

XP thin provisioning script (THP)

This scri

pt enables you to obtain THP Pool o ccupancy metrics in percentage.

THP usage

Following is the general format of the comma nd to invoke the script:

thp -dkc <serial #> -pid <thp pool id> [-auth <user:passwd>] [-ms <URL>]

[-L] [-d<char>] [-hr] [-?] [-pf <password file>]

where:

–pid The THP pool ID that is being queried.

–ms

The URL o

f the management station.

–auth The username and password.

–pf Can be used in place of -auth.

NOTE:

The password ﬁle must be created using the encrypt command only.

–d

The delimiter for delimited display.

–hr Display

s human-readable output.

–?

Prints the usage statement.

NOTE:

The -st and –et options are supported with the –pid option only. The array serial number and

–dkc are required elements.
