Verifying and validating checks

The printer’s MICR check reader enables check verication and validation by inserting the check in either the

front or top of the printer.

NOTE: To make sure that the printer properly veries and validates a check, make sure that you smooth out

any folds and wrinkles and insert the check correctly into the MICR printer.

Inserting a check

1. Place the check face down on the slip table, with the bottom edge of the check to the right (1). Move the

check to the right so it aligns along the check guide.
