NOTE: SERVER is a valid alias for BLADE.

• Description:

Enables the Onboard Administrator to provide IP addresses to the devices in the bays using

DHCP.

If you do not specify any bay numbers, then EBIPA is enabled for all bays.

DHCP traffic from iLO and the switch modules can no longer go outside the enclosure.

This causes a reset of the iLO, which causes it to attempt to get an IP address. The interconnect

is power-cycled.

• Access level/Bay level:

Administrator, Operator

• Restrictions:

Before using this command you must set up the EBIPA settings. This includes setting the initial

IP address, the netmask, and the default gateway.

REMOVE EBIPA

• Command:

REMOVE EBIPA {BLADE|INTERCONNECT} DNS <ip address>

NOTE: SERVER is a valid alias for BLADE.

• Description:

Removes the DNS server specified by the <ip address> from the list of DNS servers for either

BLADE bays or INTERCONNECT bays

• Access level/Bay level:

Administrator, Operator

• Restrictions:

The <ip address> and must be in the form ###.###.###.###, where each ### ranges

from 0 to 255.

SET EBIPA

• Command:

SET EBIPA BLADE { <IP address> <netmask> } | { NETMASK <netmask> }

| { GATEWAY <gateway> } | { DOMAIN <domain> } | { LOCAL } [ ALL |

<bay number> [{- | ,} <bay number>] ]

NOTE: SERVER is a valid alias for BLADE.

• Description:

Sets EBIPA settings, including:

◦ Starting IP address

◦ Netmask

◦ Default gateway, primary or secondary NTP server (interconnects only)

◦ Domain name for the specified bay type
