Manager 10.5 release runs with

the current software version of

Workstation now has an easy up-

DTC Manager is supported on a

subset of the

PCs supported by

HP OpenView. This subset now

includes the HP Vectra 486

PCs in

addition to the HP Vectra 286 and

PCs, IBM PSI2 Model 55, and

DeskPro 286120e PCs pre-

viously supported.

This release replaces HP Open-

View DTC Manager Release 6.0.

View DTC Manager Release 10.5

release. The HP OpenView DTC

Manager application can be or-

dered separately, or along with

systems

You now have a broader choice of

solutions for your HP 9000 requir-

ing X.25 connectivity. You can se-

lect the one most appropriate for

your system environment and

communication needs. The X.251

9000 product

(PfNs 36960A,

36941A) now provides PAD emula-

tion and remote PAD printer sup-

port. This comes along with the

HP-UX 8.0 revision. Through the

use of the

DTCm.25 product

which provides a

Padsup to Telnet

converter, PAD users can access

HP 9000 systems, other HP sys-

tems, and non-HP systems. This is

included with the DTC Release

10.5 and will be available under

HP

Openview DTC Manager.

The

X.25/HP 9000 product is

suited for homogeneous HP 9000

environments, as well as client/

server environments where

system-to-system communication

is required. In heterogeneous envi-

ronments (LAN with HP 3000,

9000,

andlor other systems) where

remote end-user access is re-
