/var/adm/clic_fw.dump

This is the default ﬁle for a memory dump of an HyperFabric

adapter, created when the clic_diag -d command is run without

specifying an output ﬁle.

• /etc/rc.config.d/netconf

This ﬁle contains IP-related conﬁguration information for all of the

networking adapters installed in the HP 9000.

IMPORTANT: clic_init and SAM modify this ﬁle, adding some

HyperFabric-related lines that end with the characters #clic. These

lines are used by the HyperFabric software—and are not

comments—so do not remove them from the ﬁle.

• /etc/services

This is the system service name database.

IMPORTANT: These two HyperFabric-related lines must be in this

ﬁle:

— hp-clic 3384/tcp #clic management daemon

— hp-clic 3384/udp #clic switch management

These lines are used by the HyperFabric software—and are not

comments—so do not remove them from the ﬁle.
