4 Setting Up and Using the Scanner

Follow the steps below to connect and get the scanner up and communicating with its host.

1. Connect the Cable to the scanner and the Host.

2. Configure the Interface (refer to

Configuring the Interface on page 9).

3. Configure the scanner as described in

Programming the Scanner on page 15 (optional,

depends on settings needed).
