1 Getting to know your computer

Component Description

(1) USB 3.x port with HP Sleep and Charge Connects a USB device, provides high-speed data transfer, and

even when the computer is o, charges products such as a cell

phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch.

(2) Security cable slot Attaches an optional security cable to the computer.

NOTE: The security cable is designed to act as a deterrent, but

it may not prevent the computer from being mishandled or

stolen.

Component Description

(1) Power connector Connects an AC adapter.

(2) AC adapter and battery light

White: The AC adapter is connected and the battery is

charged.

Amber: The AC adapter is connected and the battery is

charging.

●

O: The computer is using battery power.
