1. From the main menu, select Server Profiles and then click + Create profile.
The Create Server Profile dialog box opens.
2. Under General, enter the following information:
• For Name, enter ESX TEMPLATE.
• For Description, enter Standard server profile for stateless autodeploy.
• For Server hardware, select unassigned.
• For Server hardware type, select BL460c Gen8 EsxStandard.
• For Enclosure group, select EsxFlexFabricGroup.
• For Firmware baseline, you can select manage manually or one of the other firmware
bundles in the repository. For this example, select manage manually. You will change
the firmware baseline when you copy the profile in “Copying the template server profile
to eight servers” (page 275).
3. Add the connections for this server profile. Click Add Connection to open the Add Connection
dialog box:
