• Reser ved Capacity - displays the capacity of open volumes (LDEVs) in the storage system that
are reserved by Auto LUN. The percentage (%) to total capacity of open system volumes is
displayed in parentheses, as well as in the pie chart indicated by the pink area (

The following capacities are displayed in MB when the Total Volume Cap ac i t y is 10 GB or less.
The following capacities are displayed in G B when the Total Volume Capacity is more than 10 GB.
• Allocated LDEV Capac it y - displays the capacity of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes
(LDEVs) in the storage system that have assigned paths a nd are available to the user. The
percentage (%) to total capacity of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes is displayed in
parentheses, as well as in the pie chart indicated by the blue area (
).
Note:
It does not include reserved volumes of Auto LUN.

The Number of LDEVs areonthe lowerright of theRemoteWeb Console mainwindow.
• Allocate
dOPEN LDEVs - displays the number of open system volumes (LDEVs) tha t have assigned
paths.

Each of LD EVs that consist a LUSE volume is c ounted as one volume.
• Unallocated OPEN LDEVs - displays the number of open system volumes (LD EVs) that do not have
assigned paths.
Note:
It does not include reserved volumes of Auto LUN.
• Reserve
dOPEN LDEVs - displays the number of open system volumes (LDEVs) that are reserved by
Auto LUN.
• Allocated Mainframe LDEVs - displays the number of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes
(LDEVs
)
that have assigned paths.

• Rese rved Mainframe LDEVs - displays the numb er of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes
(LDEVs) that are reserved by Auto LUN.
• V-VOL -
displays the number of V-VOLs that are virtual volumes (LDEVs) that do not consume the
actual disk capacity. V-VOLs are currently used for XP Snapshot and XP Thin Provisioning. For
details, see the HP StorageWorks XP24000 Snapshot User’s Guide or the HP StorageWorks
XP
Thin Provisioning Software User's Guide.
• Total
(All
LDEVs) - displays the sum of allocated OPEN LDEVs, u nalloc ated OPEN LDEVs, reserved
OPEN LDEVs, allocated Mainframe LDEVs, reserved Mainframe LDEVs, and V-VOLs.
Port Status Window
The Por t Status window displays the port information using the image of the ports mounted on the
storage system.
To open the Port Status window, log in to the Remote Web Console, and then click Go, System
Information and Port Status on the menu bar of the Remote Web Console main window.
Note:
Storage partition administrators cannot display the Por t Status window.
