2 DP Storage Server startu p

Before beginning the startup procedures, verify that the DP Storage Server

is completely installed, and that all cables and cords are connected. Also,

read the supplied documentation before starting. Documents include:

• HP ProLiant D P Storage Server installation instructions (for your

model)

• HP ProLiant Storage Server administration guide

• HP ProLiant Storage Ser ver release notes (available at :

ttp://www.hp.com/go/servers)

To start DP Storage Server for the ﬁrst time:

•

Administer the DP Storage Server, page 23

• Install the Windows Multilingua l User Interface (MUI)

(optional), page 25

•

Prepare the DP Storage Server for DPM installation, page 26

•

Run the DP M mini-setup,page27

•

Complete additional setup (optional),page30.

•

Change default storage conﬁgurations (optional), page 31

NOTE:

The WebUI is disabled until the DPM mini-setup is complete.

Administer the DP Storage Server
