Standard Report Types

The following standard report types are available (Table 12 (page 78)):

PurposeReport Type

Display metric versus time. The beginning of the time range is specified by the Begin/At

Time control (see “Begin/At Time” (page 86)) and the end of the time range is specified

by the End Time control (see “End Time” (page 87)).

Versus Time

Unless the Compare control is available and set to something other than none, the

Versus Time report shows aggregate metric for all the selected objects over a range

of time. See Figure 28 (page 79) for an example.

If the Compare control (see “Compare” (page 83)) is set to a specific object, then the

Versus Time report plots the metric separately for each of up to 16 of the objects so

that they can be compared. Figure 29 (page 80) shows an example where the

performance of systems is being compared.

Display metric at the time specified by the Begin/At Time control (see “Begin/At Time”

(page 86)). For this type of report, the Group By (see “Group By” (page 84)) and

At Time

Order By (see “Order By” (page 85)) controls are enabled and can be used to compare

different groupings of object type. “Group By System:Host At Time Report Example”

(page 81) shows an example of an example with System and Host selected in the

Group By control and IOPs/s selected in the Order By control.

Display service time histogram versus time, with a separate data series for each service

time bucket between the Low Bucket (see “Low Bucket” (page 86)) and the High Bucket

(see “High Bucket” (page 86)).

Histogram Versus Time

The beginning of the time range is specified by the Begin/At Time control (see

“Begin/At Time” (page 86)) and the end of the time range is specified by theEnd Time

control (see “End Time” (page 87)). See “Histogram Versus Time Report Example”

(page 82).

Display histogram of metric at the time specified by the Begin/At Time control (see

“Begin/At Time” (page 86)). This control is available only for PD, LD, Port and VLUN

performance reports. See “Histogram At Time Report Example” (page 83).

Histogram At Time

For each report type, controls in the report menu that do not apply to that report type are disabled.
