NAME
cmu_firmware_mgmt -- Verify and execute firmware
SYNOPSIS
# /opt/cmu/bin/cmu_firmware_mgmt [-h] [-d -f <nodefile>
[-o"cmudiff_parameters"]] | [-c -f <nodefile>] | [-v -f <nodefile>] | [-u
<firmware_executable_file> -f <nodefile>]
DESCRIPTION
cmu_firmware_mgmt performs the following operations:
• Display BIOS settings for the specified nodes
• Display BIOS version for the specified nodes
• Execute the firmware executable on the specified nodes
OPTIONS
-h
Print this help text.
-d
Displays BIOS settings for specified nodes.
-o<cmudiff_parameters>
Lists cmudiff parameters to use for display. Use only with -d.
-v
Displays BIOS version for specified nodes.
-u
Runs the firmware upgrade executable file.
-f <nodefile>
Specifies a text file listing compute nodes.
EXAMPLES
# /opt/cmu/bin/cmu_firmware_mgmt –v –f nodes.txt
# /opt/cmu/bin/cmu_firmware_mgmt –d –f nodes.txt
# /opt/cmu/bin/cmu_firmware_mgmt –u CP019061.scexe –f nodes.txt
