Removal and replacement procedures 47

Remove the center wall.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Media blanks

To remove the component:

1. Power down the server (on page 31).

2. Open or remove the tower bezel ("Front bezel" on page 32).

CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless

all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.

3. Remove the media blanks.
