Before You Call Hewlett-Packard

Perform the CAL FREQ and CAL AMPTD routines, or the
CAL FREQ

routine. Be sure CAL OUT is connected to the cable
TV analyzer input.
If the CAL OUT signal cannot be found,
press (FREQUENCY), -37

before performing the
CAL FREQ or CAL FREQ
&
AMPTD.

4. Set the display position by using the steps in “If the display position is
offset.
”
5. Press

of -37 Hz. The center frequency -37 Hz acts as a pass code for
