2. Remove the fan.
To remove fan 1A, 1B, 2 or 3 from a rack-mounted server, or fan 3 from a pedestal server,
grasp the appropriate fan and lift it out of the fan socket (Figure 6-16; Figure 6-17; Figure 6-18).
