To replace the hot-plug fan:
1. Open the top access panel.
2. Press the locking latch in and lift the failed hot-plug fan (either 1
or 2) out of the I/O module
.

3. Lower the new hot-plug fan into the I/O module until it rests on the I/O
board connector
, holding the locking latch . Push the fan into the
connector and release the locking latch to engage the fan.

4. Verify that the fan is producing airflow and that the LED indicator is
green and close the top access panel.
