5 Database Administration Monitoring the Database

CAUTION:
Do not alter any data, schema, logins, or passwords using SQL*PLUS. Doing
so may corrupt the voice system and result in the need for maintenance. The
ORACLE right-to-use license is restricted solely to UCS 1000 R4.2
applications, that is, not covered under the warranty.
If you use SQL*PLUS to drop a table or change a table schema, you must
reverify and reinstall the application that refers to the table. The applications
might not be able to communicate with the database correctly if you fail to
reverify and reinstall them.
Monitoring the Database
See the ORACLE Server Administrator’s Guide for information on commands
and procedures used to monitor the database.
